A dear friend and spinal cord advocate recently passed away. Buddy Lawson was a founding member of the Chapter, and laid the ground work for all that we have accomplished thus far. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten, as we continue to carry on his vision of support within the spinal cord community.
The chapter will not have a meeting in November. Our Christmas party will be held December 20 @ 6:00 in the Highland Court Apartments. Details will be provided in next month’s issue.

November ‘s meeting will be held in the 10th floor dining room at Frazier Institute. Our speaker will be. Pam Person,. Ms. Person will speak about steps in preventing skin ulcers, and the new techniques available for the treatment of skin ulcers that do occur. Refreshments will be provided.
