The Derby City NSCIA Newsletter is the Monthly publication of Derby City NSCIA, which is mailed to every Derby City NSCIA member. Every Newsletter is filled with issue-driven articles, and news of interest to the SCI Community and the larger disability community. Our Newsletter is an overview of research and fundraising activities throughout the month. The Derby City NSCIA Newsletter is edited by Barbara Davis.
In lieu of this month’s meeting we will have our annual Christmas party at Highland Court Apartments; 1720 Richmond Drive at 6:30 on December 19. I hope everyone will come join us for what is sure to be a fun time.

Our speaker this month will be Stuart Cohen from Invacare Corporation. He will speak about a variety of their products, including Custom Manual and Power chairs. Food and drink will be provided at the meeting. I hope everyone can attend what is sure to be an interesting and informative meeting.

Our speaker for the February meeting will be Dan Pickett, with Pride Mobility. He will be discussing the new line of power wheelchairs manufactured by Pride. He should have plenty of written information and brochures as well as a couple of demonstrations of power chairs.
So come to the meeting and see these new chairs and you may even be able to test ride one of them. Food and drink will be provided at the meeting.
