The Derby City NSCIA Newsletter is the Monthly publication of Derby City NSCIA, which is mailed to every Derby City NSCIA member. Every Newsletter is filled with issue-driven articles, and news of interest to the SCI Community and the larger disability community. Would you like to explore the possibility of having a primary physician who is knowledgeable about individuals with disabilities , particularly SCI? If so, please come to February’s meeting (at Frazier Rehab Institute, 220 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, 10th floor dining room) to hear Michael Stillman, M.D. explain his services. He is Assistant Professor at U of L in Internal Medi- cine and Neurosurgery. He started a primary care clinic for people with SCI this fall. He will discuss accessible health care for people with disabilities, metabolic diseases that are common in SCI, and ar- eas in which he hopes to pursue clinical research. Read this Newsletter »
