The Hidden Valley Inn in Nashville , IN made for a beautiful and near-perfect retreat for my wife and me.
Just one hour south of Indianapolis , Nashville , located in the hills of southern Indiana , is very wheelchair accessible with over 300 accessible shops and restaurants.
Our suite at the inn was complete with a king size bed, and a queen size sofa bed, with two cable TV's, one in each room. The convenient kitchen was complete with a table and chairs that accommodate six. The bathroom was complete with a roll-in shower with a padded shower seat, grab bars and an alarm system for emergencies. We always insist upon handicapped suites when we travel, but this inn exceeded our expectations.
Brown County State Park , Indiana 's largest state park, is located on the East edge of Nashville . For country music lovers, The Little Nashville Opry has star entertainment every weekend, through the summer.
We can't wait to return to this quaint artist colony with a bit of country elegance.

Another Indiana destination is Winona Lake near Warsaw . The shopping area is set up like an outlet mall. The dining is on the lake and accessible. Very quaint area.
